It was great seeing all of you at Rakkasah 2000 in Richmond. CA. Special thanks to JUDITH'S HEAD and Kajira Djoumahna for passing out sell sheets and being our voice at the show. If you didn't go to the show and want a sell sheet, let us know. A mailing of the sell sheet will go out by the first week in April.

Something that didn't make the sell sheet was the ISBN number. If you don't know what an ISBN number is, you're probably better for it. The ISBN for The Belly Dance Book: Rediscovering the Oldest Dance is 0-9700247-0-3.

HOW DO I GET THE BOOK?

The release date for the book is September 2000, in time for Desert Dance. If you're the anxious sort who wants to receive the book right when it comes out, you can order early. Even right now. When the book comes out, you could be the first person in you dance class/troupe/coven/band/caravan/car pool/sewing circle/wine tasting club to get a copy.

To order copies for yourself and friends, send checks or money orders to Backbeat Press. Books at $18.50 each (such a deal!), plus $3.00 per copy for shipping, plus 8.25% tax if you live in California. Of course, if you live in California, you can stop by my house and I'll sign a copy for you, but you better bring me something to eat.

In case you want to pay by credit card, we're going to make the book available at Amazon.com and other on-line services. Email me and I'll let you know when that's set up. If you have a particular place you'd like to send your credit card info to, let me know where, and I'll try to convince to buy the book.
